Destination North East – Festival in Varanasi from 23rd- 26th November

The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Dr. Jitendra Singh will inaugurate the ?Destination North East? Festival to be held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh from 23rd to 26th November 2019. The four-day event is being organized by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region.

All 8 Northeastern states of India will participate in the festival, showcasing their handloom, organic products, handicrafts, and cultural troupes. Central Government agencies like CBTC, NERAMAC, NEHHDC, Lalit Kala Academy, NERCORMP, and International Centre for Cultural Relations will also be present.

Previous editions of the “Destination North East” festival were held at Delhi and Chandigarh.
