About Mohalla Clinics
Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics (AAMC), commonly known as Mohalla Clinics, are primary health care facilities in New Delhi. They provide free basic essential health services which include diagnostics, medicines, and free-of-cost consultation. These clinics serve as the public’s first point of contact, timely services are provided and the number of referrals to the state’s secondary and tertiary health facilities is reduced. In 2015, Mohalla Clinics were first set up by the Aam Aadmi Party government. As of 2020, 450 such clinics have been set up across and have served over 16.24 million residents.
