Delhi Legislative Assembly Adopts NeVA

The National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) is a revolutionary workflow system deployed on the NIC Cloud, MeghRaj. It aims to enhance the efficiency and transparency of legislative processes across India. NeVA facilitates a paperless environment for legislative business, allowing Members of the House to manage their responsibilities seamlessly through digital means. Recently, the Delhi Legislative Assembly adopted NeVA, becoming the 28th legislature to do so.

It provides access to essential information such as contact details, rules of procedure, lists of business, notices, and bills. The application streamlines legislative workflows by centralising data and eliminating the need for physical notices or requests.

What is mNeVA?

mNeVA is the mobile version of NeVA, available for both Android and iOS devices. This app ensures that legislative information is accessible anytime and anywhere. It empowers members to stay updated on legislative matters on the go.

NeVA in Delhi

The Delhi Legislative Assembly signed a Memorandum of About (MoU) with the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi for NeVA’s implementation. This collaboration marks a commitment to a transparent and efficient legislative system in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of “One Nation, One Application.”
