Defence Ministry signs MoU with IIT Kanpur and DARPG for analysis of public grievances
The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Ministry of Defence and Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of India, has signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to conduct and develop the explanatory analysis of the grievances received in the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS).
Details of the Project
The project is titled ‘Analyzing Grievances Data using Artificial Intelligence’ is going to be a collaboration between the faculty of IIT Kanpur and the other two stakeholders. The main objective of the project will be to analyze the nature of grievances received by the government so that necessary inputs can be derived from it.
Significance
The main idea is to understand what kind of grievances are received by the government and by this model, insights will also be obtained and Spatio-temporal trends in the data will also be inferred from this project. The quality or severity or sentiment of the grievances can also be understood from this.
