Notes:- Privileges Committee consists of 15 members(10 members in case of Rajya Sabha) nominated by the Speaker (Chairman in case of Rajya Sabha).
- The Business Advisory Committee of Lok Sabha consists of 15 members including the Speaker who is the ex-officio Chairperson and 11 members in Rajya Sabha headed by the ex-officio Chairperson. The members are nominated by the Speaker. It was constituted for the first time on the 14th July, 1952.
- The first estimate committee in the post-independence era was formed in 1950. All the 30 members are from Lok Sabha only. Rajya Sabha has no representation in this committee. No minister can be a member of the estimates committee.
- The Public Accounts Committee was introduced in 1921 after its first mention in the Government of India Act, 1919 also called Montford Reforms. It presently comprises 22 members (15 members elected by the Lok Sabha Speaker, and 7 members elected by the Rajya Sabha Chairman) with a term of one year only. No minister can be a member of this committee.

Notes:- Lake Poopó was a large saline lake in a shallow depression in Bolivia. In 2002 the lake was designated as a site for conservation under the Ramsar Convention. By December 2015, the lake had completely dried up, leaving only a few marshy areas.
- Lake Faguibine is a lake in Mali on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert. In 2021, Lake Figuibine was entirely dry.
- Lake Urmia is an endorheic salt lake in Iran. By late 2017, the lake had shrunk to 10% of its former size. The recovery of the lake has continued in 2020 due to above average precipitation and the actions of the Lake Urmia Restoration Program.
- Lake Chad is one of Africa’s largest freshwater bodies. The lake has shrunk 90 per cent over the last 60 years, since the chronic droughts surged at the beginning of 1970s.
