The National Statistical Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has released the press note on Employment Outlook of India.
The report covers the period from September 2017 to August 2022. It uses information on number of subscribers of Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) Scheme, the Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Scheme and the National Pension Scheme (NPS). As per the report, 5,81,56,630 new subscribers joined the EPF Scheme.

NASA’s Dragonfly rotorcraft is scheduled to reach the Selk Crater region on Saturn’s moon Titan in the year 2034.
Cassini spacecraft has sent some radar images of the area during its 13 years of exploring the Saturn system. Dragonfly is also the first flying machine for a world in the outer solar system.

The Navies of India and Singapore are participating in the Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX) at Visakhapatnam.
The Indian Navy is hosting the 29th edition of SIMBEX-2022 in two phases – Harbour Phase at Visakhapatnam followed by the Sea Phase in Bay of Bengal. SIMBEX series of exercises began in 1994 and were initially known as Exercise Lion King.

The government announced that a transport aircraft manufacturing facility for the Indian Air Force will come up in Vadodara.
40 of the 56 C-295MW transport aircraft being procured from Airbus Defence and Space SA will be manufactured at the new facility in Vadodara. This is for the first time, the C-295 aircraft will be manufactured outside of Europe. They will be manufactured in India by Tata consortium of Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) led by TASL.

As per the report of the Aviation analytics company Official Airline Guide (OAG), Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi is the 10th busiest airport in the world in terms of seat capacity and frequency of domestic and international flights as of October 2022.
Delhi airport improved from its 14th position in October 2019. The busiest airport in the world as of October 2022 is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport which serviced 47,47,367 seats. Dubai International is second, followed by Tokyo International Airport.
