Recently, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) has earned a coveted position within the prestigious 18-member steering committee of the International Competition Network (ICN). The steering committee serves as the highest governing body of the ICN.

The curtain raiser event for Vimarsh 2023, a national hackathon focused on the use of 5G technology for police applications, took place in Delhi.
The hackathon will comprise three stages of idea screening. Stages I and II will be conducted in a virtual format, while Stage III will be held at designated centers in a physical setting. During Stage III, participants will have access to 5G testbeds, private networks, and labs for their projects.

Indian Army’s inaugural Vertical Wind Tunnel (VWT) has been inaugurated at the Special Forces Training School (SFTS) located in Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh.
This state-of-the-art wind tunnel is aimed to enhance and improve the Combat Freefall (CFF) skills of armed forces personnel.

Three Basins Summit was hosted in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo to strengthen South-South governance for three ecosystems — Amazon, Congo, Borneo-Mekong and Southeast Asia.
Three Basins Threat Report, which was released during the Summit, highlighted the challenges faced by the world’s remaining tropical forest basins.
