The ‘Arattu’ festival has a rich tradition of being celebrated at the Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram.
The uniqueness of the ‘Arattu’ festival is that the head of the royal family of the erstwhile Travancore kingdom still escorts the idols of deities during the procession in traditional attire. The Aarattu Festival is celebrated twice each year.

The Uttar Pradesh government is set to carry out an extensive survey to evaluate the mineral resources in the riverbeds of the Ghaghra and Gomti rivers.
This survey will encompass nine specific locations, with seven situated along the Ghaghra River and two along the Gomati River.

This day aims to draw the attention of the world to development problems and the need to strengthen international cooperation to solve them. This day coincides with the United Nations Day, celebrated to commemorate the day UN began operating in 1945.

The International Migration Outlook: 2023 was released recently by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
It revealed that Indians, who are prominent in terms of migration to OECD countries, also top the list when it comes to obtaining foreign citizenship.
