Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated the annual youth festival ‘Sonzal-2022’ at the University of Kashmir.
The festival is an opportunity for young artists to showcase their talents and ‘Sonzal’ provides them with a platform to achieve the dream of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshta Bharat’.

‘National Milk Day’ is observed to commemorate 101st birth anniversary of the ‘Father of the White Revolution in India’, Dr. Verghese Kurien also known as the Milkman of India.
The prestigious National Gopal Ratna Awards 2022 will also be conferred on the day. In the national event in the state of Karnataka, a book on the life of Varghese Kurian and a booklet on Milk Adulteration is to be released.

India’s first-ever Night Sky Sanctuary is being set up by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research under Union Ministry of Science & Technology, in Ladakh’s Hanle.
The proposed Dark Sky Reserve will be located at Hanle as a part of Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary. It will boost Astro-tourism in India and will be one of the world’s highest-located sites for optical, infra-red, and gamma-ray telescopes.

Qatar Energy announced a 27-year natural gas supply deal with China. It is the longest such gas agreement signed till date.
The state energy company will send four million tonnes of liquefied natural gas annually from its new North Field East project to China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (Sinopec).

Since 2015, November 26 is observed as Constitution Day to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India by the Constituent Assembly in 1949.
Earlier, the day was observed as Law Day. During the programme, the prime minister will launch new initiatives under the e-court project including the ‘virtual justice clock’, ‘JustIS’ mobile app 2.0, digital court and ‘S3WaaS’ websites.
