During a special meeting of the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library Society, a decision was made to modify its name to the Prime Ministers’ Museum and Library Society.
The meeting was chaired by Rajnath Singh, the Union Defence Minister and Vice-President of the Society.

The Dugdh Sankalan Sathi Mobile App was launched recently by the Union Minister of Heavy Industries Dr.Mahendra Nath Pandey in Mussorie, Uttarakhand.
The app was developed by Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL), a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. This mobile app aims to improve the quality of milk, foster transparency among stakeholders, and streamline operations at the grassroots village level, including milk cooperative societies.

Notes:
The 1 MW Rooftop Solar Power Project was commissioned recently by the NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited at IIT Jodhpur. This project is expected to meet 15 percent of the electricity requirements of the institution.
NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN) is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC. The rooftop project will generate around 14.9 Lakhs units per annum.

The Congress government in Karnataka has announced the repeal of the State’s Protection of Right to Freedom of Religion Act, 2022, which is popularly known as the anti-conversion law.
The State Cabinet also decided to reverse the changes made to Kannada and Social Studies school textbooks last year, including lessons on Hindutva ideologues.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India joined the worldwide celebrations of 15th June as Global Wind Day.
Rajasthan was felicitated for achieving the highest wind capacity addition, Gujarat for achieving the highest wind capacity addition through open access and Tamil Nadu for initiating repowering of wind turbines. The event also witnessed the launch of Wind Atlas at 150 meter above ground level, prepared by National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE).
