Hungary’s parliament recently passed legislation that bans the dissemination of content in schools deemed to promote homosexuality and gender change. This step has been taken amid strong criticism from human rights groups and opposition parties.

United States has recently announced the plan, “Antiviral Program for Pandemics”. US President Joe Biden announced to spend $3.2 billion to increase the development and discovery of antiviral treatments against Covid-19 and future risks. This program will allow the National Institutes of Health to focus on antivirals for COVID-19 and other pandemic risks.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a United States federal statute enacted by the 111th United States Congress and signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010. The Supreme Court recently dismissed the challenge to this Act, saving insurance coverage for millions of Americans.

India is signatory to the United Nations Convention on Combating Desertification (UNCCD). It intends to achieve land degradation neutral status by 2030. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently addressed a high-level virtual conference on desertification, land degradation and drought. PM Modi was President of 14th session of Conference of the Parties to United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP14 President) at New Delhi in 2019.
