The National eGovernance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) organized an AI Pe Charcha (AI Dialogue).
The panellists discussed the importance and approaches for enabling access to quality datasets for AI. The AI Pe Charcha series has been initiated as a part of Responsible AI for Social Empowerment (RAISE), India’s first global AI summit organized by MeitY in 2020.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal rolled out Government e-Marketplace services (GeM) through Common Service Centres (CSC) and India Post, Department of Post.
The Minister also launched the Government e-Marketplace Seller Samvaad Booklet, which is a compilation of testimonials from sellers and service providers based on their experience on GeM portal.

Notes:
Two heritage sites from Gujarat — the Sun Temple at Modhera and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hometown Vadnagar, a historic town were added to the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Rock-cut Sculptures and Reliefs of the Unakoti, Tripura were also added to the tentative list.

Notes:
The Assam cabinet has approved the proposal for grant of industry status to the tourism sector in the state, to boost investments and generate employment.
With this grant, restaurants, cafeterias, health clubs, spas and wellness centers, among others, in the state are eligible for incentives under the industrial policy.

Former Supreme Court judge Hemant Gupta has been appointed as the chairperson of New Delhi International Arbitration Centre (NDIAC).
The NDIAC was established for creating an independent and autonomous regime for institutionalised arbitration. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the appointment of retired Justice Hemant Gupta as NDIAC chairperson and Ganesh Chandru and Anant Vijay Palli as its part-time members.
