Uttarakhand has hired McKinsey, a global management consultancy, to help in achieving the target of doubling its Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) in the next five years.
The State has the target of doubling GSDP from ₹2.73 lakh crore to ₹5.5 lakh crore by achieving a CAGR of 15% in the next five years. McKinsey has signed a two-year agreement with the state government under Shashakt Uttarakhand mission.

Japan’s space agency Jaxa has announced that it has successfully used steam to propel its spacecraft, which was launched as one of the payloads aboard Nasa’s Orion spacecraft.
As per JAXA, this is the world’s first successful orbit control beyond low-Earth orbit using a water propellant propulsion system.

Hornbill Festival of Nagaland, also known as the ‘Festival of Festivals’, showcases Nagaland’s rich culture.
India assumed the G20 presidency on 1st December 2022 and the 23rd Hornbill Festival 2022 also began on the same day in Nagaland. It is organized by the Government of Nagaland, to encourage inter-tribal interaction and to promote the cultural heritage of Nagaland. Hornbill, Nagaland’s cultural icon, is found in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.

The 12th Edition of Exercise Agni Warrior, a bilateral exercise between the Singapore and Indian Army concluded at Devlali (Maharashtra).
Exercise Agni Warrior, involved joint firepower planning, execution and use of New Generation Artillery Equipment. Indigenously manufactured Artillery guns and howitzers also participated in the final phase of the exercise.

India supported UAE’s proposal to include the element of digitization in the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO)next Strategic Plan.
UAE also proposed the adoption of a maritime single window system as a part of the digitization initiative to help in resolving the regulatory bottlenecks faced in the marine industry. This was announced by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW).
