Notes:
India’s first indigenously developed Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus was developed by KPIT-CSIR in Pune. It was unveiled by Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology.
The hydrogen fuel cell uses hydrogen and air to generate electricity, producing only heat and water in the process. FCEVs (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles) are the most environment-friendly mode of public transportation.

The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated the National Seed Congress in 2022 in Gwalior.
The State Academy of Agricultural and Allied Sciences (SAAS) was launched. The efforts of NAAS at the national level and SAAS at the regional level will further accelerate the activities of agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry science and promotion of related research and education.

The Indian Railways recently conducted a test run of the 3.5-km-long freight train named ‘Super Vasuki’.
This is the longest and heaviest freight train ever run by the Railways. It has wagons carrying over 27,000 tonnes of coal between Korba in Chhattisgarh and Rajnandgao in Nagpur.

The Central government has planned to collaborate with the Arunachal Pradesh government to develop a ‘district good governance portal’.
The portal aims to monitor the performance of each district of the state on a monthly basis and help in benchmarking performance. Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) under the Ministry of Personnel will develop the ‘district good governance portal’.

Notes:
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated the Rajiv Gandhi Centre of Advance Technology (R-CAT).
R-CAT will conduct training programmes on advanced and emerging Information technologies for graduates. The centre will give industry standard certificates to successful candidates.
