Cyclone Eloise

Cyclone Eloise is a tropical cyclone that developed in south west Indian Ocean struck Beira, the port city of Mozambique. The area was already reeling from the impact of floods from December 2020 and from the 2 major cyclones of 2019- Idai and Kenneth. Satellite images from NASA show that Cyclone Eloise has flooded large swathes of farmland and washed away more than 17,000 houses in the region.
