Currently, which of the following countries is the largest oil supplier to India?

India imports 80% of its oil demand. Presently Saudi Arabia is the largest supplier of oil to India. Saudi Arabia is followed by Iraq, Nigeria, Venezuela and Iran. Iran was India’s second biggest supplier of crude oil after Saudi Arabia till 2010-11. After the Western countries sanctions imposed on Iran, India brought down the purchases in 2012-13 and had limited them in the years thereafter.
In November 2016, Iran took over Saudi Arabia as India’s top oil supplier.
