UNICEF’s COVID-19 Vaccine Market Dashboard
The UNICEF has recently launched the COVID-19 Vaccine Market Dashboard as the designated COVAX procurement coordinator and procurement agent.
About the Dashboard
- It is an interactive tool for countries and industries to follow the developments of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 vaccines. It will also act as a platform to learn about the efforts of the COVAX facility. With this, the UNICEF aims to ensure fair and equitable access of COVID-19 vaccine for all countries.
- The dashboard will also provide regular updates on global research and development of COVID-19 vaccine, publicly announced bilateral and multilateral supply agreement, projected production capacity and reported price points.
- The dashboard is to be extended to provide visibility of progress towards the goal of COVAX facility. The extension is based on the UNICEF-PAHO cooperation.
- The dashboard will provide details to track the status of deliveries by UNICEF and other participating national and institutional buyers.
