Bihar : JP Samman Pension Scheme:
JP Samman Pension Scheme had been initiated for those who participated in the ”total revolution” launched by veteran socialist leader Jai Prakash Narain in 1974.Recently the committee headed by state Home Secretary Amir Subhani approved the list of 1686 beneficiaries after their claims of having participated in total revolution were found correct following verification from jail records.
- Those served more more than 6 months get Rs. 5000 per month and less than 6 months will get 2500 per month.
- Activists serving less than one month jail term during the total revolution would be given mementos and citation papers.
