Arunachal Pradesh passes resolution to bring state under Sixth Schedule
The Arunachal Pradesh Assembly has passed the resolution to bring the state under the purview of Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, along with amending Article 371(H) to safeguard the interests of tribes in the state.

Medical Council of India has introduced module on pandemic management along with its social, legal and other aspects in the MBBS course. This is to prepare doctors for future challenges similar to the COVID-19
CCI sets up new AI forum
Confederation of Indian Industry has established a new forum on artificial intelligence. It will be chaired by IBM’s India/South Asia Managing Director Sandip Patel. The forum is to focus on AI as the driver of economic and business revival.
First commercial flight between Israel, UAE

Kharif crops acreage in India at record high
Area under kharif crops has touched an all-time high area of 108.22 million hectares during the week ended August 28. This creates a possibility of bumper harvest of 149 million tonnes surplus. The last all-time high acreage was 107.57 million during the 2016 kharif season.
