CSIR-IICB: COVID-19 may affect respiratory centre of brain
A team of scientists from CSIR – Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB), Kolkata has undertaken a study on the neuro-invasive potential of COVID-19 and said that the virus may infect the respiratory centre of the brain. The researchers have called for the attention on the respiratory centre of the central nervous system to know more about the coronavirus-led mortality.
