Cow-urine refinery for research on cow products opens in Rajasthan

Cow-urine refinery for research on cow products was opened at Pathmera village in Jalore district of Rajasthan.
The refinery was inaugurated by Rajasthan Health Minister Rajendra Rathore. This refinery will play important role in adopting scientific approach for Indian traditional system of medicine.
It will also give emphasis on the research of cow products and their application in the treatment of various diseases.
By-product derived from cow-urine extract from this refinery will be used for cleaning at the SMS Hospital in Jaipur.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect has been signed between Jodhpur’s Dr S Radhakrishnan Ayurveda University and the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences located at Bikaner.
At present, fibre obtained from cow dung is being used in Agra and Jalore, for running industries.
