Corruption Perception Index, 2020

Corruption Perception Index, 2020 was recently released by the NGO Transparency International. The index ranks countries according to the estimated levels of corruption in the public sector based on the views of experts and business people. India fell by 6 ranks to reach 86 out of 180 countries from 2019 ranking. Its overall score declined by one point to reach the below average score of 40.
