The first-of-a-kind Indian music and dance festival “Confluence: Festival of India” has started in Sydney, Australia. It was inaugurated by Mahesh Sharma, the Union Tourism and Culture Minister. The purpose of the 10-week long festival is to showcase India’s rich and diverse culture. The festival is an initiative of Indian government supported by the Australian side, which will run across 7 cities including Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide.
