cOcOn 2021- Kerala Police’s Cyber security and hacking conference
Chief of Defence Staff, Bipin Rawat, is set to inaugurate cOcOn 2021 on November 12, 2021.
What is cOcOn 2021?
- cOcOn 2021 is the annual cyber security and hacking conference.
- It is organised by the Kerala Police.
- Conference will showcase two days of pre-conference workshops, on November 10 and November 11.
- Main conference will be held for two days, November 12 & 13.
What is the theme of cOcOn 2021?
The conference will be organised under the theme “Improvise, Adapt and Overcome”.

Keynote speakers of the conference include:
- Mohamed Al-Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security of UAE
- Tomasz Zaleski, Chairman of the Royal Office of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi of UAE
- Sivan, Chairman of ISRO
- P. Gurnani, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Tech Mahindra.
What is cOcOn?
cOcOn is a 13 years old platform, created with the aim of providing opportunities to educate, showcase, understand and spread awareness regarding the privacy, Information Security and data protection. It also aims to provide a hand-shaking platform to several Corporate and Government organizations including several investigation agencies, research organisations, academia, industry leaders & players.
Background
cOcOn was earlier known as Cyber Safe. It is an annual event, which is conducted as a part of International Information Security Day. cOcOn annual conferences was started in 2008. It is an initiative of Kerala Police in association with Information Security Research Organization (ISRA).
About ISRA
ISRA is a registered non-profit organization that focuses on various aspects of Information Security like security research and cyber security awareness activities. It was registered in the year 2010.
