22nd Edition of CII Connect 2024

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Tamil Nadu will host the 22nd edition of CII Connect on December 17 and 18, 2024, in Chennai. The event will center on “Artificial Intelligence in Action – Real-World Applications in Business,” which aims to highlight the transformative potential of AI in various sectors.

Event Leadership

The event will be chaired by Srivats Ram, Chairman of CII Tamil Nadu State Council and Managing Director of Wheels India Ltd. Rajesh Varrier, EVP and Global Head of Operations at Cognizant India, will serve as co-chair. The IT Minister, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, will inaugurate the summit, while Kumar Jayant, Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Information Technology & Digital Services, will participate as a panelist.

Key Themes and Discussions

CII Connect 2024 will explore AI’s role in multiple domains. Topics will include AI applications in rural and urban development, manufacturing, and supply chain resilience. The event will also address smart governance and community empowerment through AI solutions.

Next-Generation Technologies

The summit will delve into advancements in next-generation technologies, including quantum computing and augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR). Discussions will focus on AI-driven products and services that enhance business operations.

Over 400 senior leaders from diverse industries are expected to attend. This gathering will provide a dynamic platform for discussions, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration aimed at promoting AI adoption in both businesses and governance.
