Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme

The Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme was announced as a part of Rajasthan’s state budget for 2021-22. It is a cashless Mediclaim scheme that seeks to fulfil the people’s ‘right to heath’. The scheme will cover all the residents of the state. This makes the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana one of the biggest health insurance schemes and Rajasthan the first state in India to provide health insurance for all its residents.  Under this scheme, each beneficiary family is entitled to an annual health insurance cover of 5 lakh INR. The scheme enables the residents to access cashless treatment.
