Charkhi Dadri declared 22nd district of Haryana

Haryana Government has announced Charkhi Dadri as the 22nd district of the state. At present, it is part of Bhiwani, the state’s largest district carved out on December 22, 1972.
It was announced by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at a public rally in Dadri in Bhiwani district. The new district will have two state assembly constituencies Dadri and Badhra under its jurisdiction.
Besides, this announcement CM also laid the foundation stones of welfare projects worth Rs 150 crore. He announced Rs 5 crore for Nagar Palika, Dadri, Rs 10 crore each for the Charkhi Dadri and Badhra Assembly constituency.
Charkhi Dadri was made by joining the villages of Charkhi and Dadri after urban development. NH 148 B (Narnaul – Bathinda ) pass through the city.
