Bihar to Host Khelo India Youth Games 2025

Bihar will host the Khelo India Youth Games in April 2025, which marks the state’s first time as a host for this prestigious event. The Khelo India Para Games will follow shortly after, with a gap of 10 to 15 days, and this is the first time the Para Games will be held in Bihar.

Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, supports this initiative. He stated that it aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. The goal is to bring Khelo India Games to every region of the country. Sports are essential for achieving a developed India by 2047.

Bihar has proven its ability to host major sporting events. The Women’s Asian Champions Trophy hockey championship was held in Rajgir. India defeated China, the silver medalists from the Paris Olympics, to retain the title.

The Khelo India Youth Games 2023 took place in Tamil Nadu. These games set a precedent for future events, showcasing athletic talent across the nation.
