Bihar Special Armed Police Bill, 2021

The Bihar Special Armed Police Bill, 2021 was recently passed by the state assembly to improve training and capacity of the Bihar Military Police. The amendment bill seeks to rename the Bihar Military Police as the Bihar Special Armed Police and give it more powers similar to that of the Central Industrial Security Force so as to ensure better security for the commercial and industrial assets in the state.
