Bharatiya Mahila Bank to recruit POs
India’s first all-women bank, Bharatiya Mahila Bank, which expected to be operational from November 2013, has invited online applications from female candidates for the 115 Probationary Officer posts. The last date for online application is till September 30, 2013.
About Bharatiya Mahila Bank:
Bharatiya Mahila Bank is India’s first all-women public sector bank. The bank proposes to complete the first six branches at Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Indore and Guwahati by October 2013. The Government has already approved Rs 1,000-crore seed capital for the bank as announced by Finance Minister P. Chidambaram in Budget 2013-14. The bank was already given in-principal approval by the RBI and the banking company is being set up.

- Objective: One of the key objectives of Bhartiya Mahila Bank is to focus on the banking needs of the women and promote economic empowerment. It will also addresses the gender related issues and will be helpful in financial inclusion.
