AsterX

AsterX is a military exercise conducted in space by France. The first of its kind exercise is named after France’s first satellite that was launched in 1965. The exercise is aimed at evaluating its ability to defend its satellites and other defence equipment in case of an attack. The US space force and the German space agencies are also taking part in this exercise. France’s Space Forces Command or CdE was created in 2019.
