Arktika-M
Arktika-M is a Russian satellite launched recently to monitor the climate and environment in the Arctic. This comes as the Kremlin is looking to expand its presence in the Arctic. Launched from Kazakhstan using a Soyuz rocket, this satellite had successfully reached the intended orbit. Russia is looking to launch another such satellite in 2023. This satellite along with Arktika-M will enable interminable, all-weather monitoring of the Arctic region.
