Amazonia-1
Amazonia-1 is a Brazilian satellite developed by the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). It is going to be launched on board of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) C-51 on February 28 along with three Indian payloads as part of ISRO’s first mission for 2021. Amazonia-1 is the optical earth observation satellite that will provide remote sensing data for monitoring Amazon deforestation. This observatory satellite is said to be the first to be entirely developed by Brazil.
