India has recently signed three Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mozambique in areas of drug trafficking, pulse trading and sports.The excerpts of MoUs are on reduction of drug trafficking and psychotropic substances and related materials, cooperation in the field of youth affairs and sports and long term agreement for purchase of pulses. In it, Mozambique will focus on the production of tur daal (Pigeon Peas) to facilitate the long term trade goals with India.
