Which state government of India will set up Asia’s first Rice Technology Park?

The Asia’s first Rice Technology Park will be set up by the Karnataka Government at Gangavati in Koppal district. Beside this, the Maize Technology Park will also set up at Ranebennur in Haveri district. The parks will be based on the public-private participation model to resolve the problems of rice and maize growers. It also help paddy cultivators of Tungbhadra command area and Krishna command area. Additionally, the technology park would have facilities for rice flour, rice rava, rice bran oil, noodles, rice-based alcohol, animal and poultry feed and paddy husk used for power generation and brick-making.
