World Wrestling Championships in Kazakhstan: Rahul Aware wins bronze, Deepak Punia wins silver 

Rahul Aware defeated Tyler Lee Graff of US 11-4 in the play-off between losing semifinalists to win bronze medal in men’s 61 kg freestyle at the World Wrestling Championships in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan). Deepak Punia won silver in men’s 86 kg freestyle after pulling out of the final against Iran’s Hassan Yazdani due to an injury. India ended the tournament with 1 silver and four bronze medals.

India’s Divij Sharan and Igor Zelenay of Slovakia won the men’s doubles title at St Petersburg Open tennis by defeating the Italian pair of Matteo Berrettini and Simone Bolelli in the final 6-3, 3-6, 10-8.

Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel wins Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 

Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel won the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix at Marina Bay Street Circuit, Singapore. He was followed by Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc and Red Bull driver Max Verstappen in second and third places respectively.
