Latika Ghosh

Latika Ghosh was the Oxford educated niece of Arubindo Ghosh. She started the Mahila Rashtriya Sangha (MRS) in Chiitagong in 1928 at the behest of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose. The aim of the MRS was to fight for freedom through the mobilization women for political work. Mahila Rashtriya Sangha was started to organize women to resist the Simon Commission.
