Who has written “The Golden Threshold”?

The Golden Threshold” (1905)was a work of Sarojini Naidu, known by her sobriquet The Nightingale of India (Bharatiya Kokila).
  • She is best known as first Indian woman to become the President of the Indian National Congress and the first woman to become the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.
  • She joined Mahatma Gandhi in the Dandi March and led the Dharasana Satyagraha, when Gandhi was arrested.

Her other works are:

  • The Bird of Time (1912)
  • The Broken Wing: Songs of Love, Death and the Spring (1917)
  • The Sceptred Flute: Songs of India (1947)
  • The Feather of the Dawn (1961)

The last two works were published Posthumously.
