ICEDASH and ATITHI

ICEDASH and ATITHI are two initiatives launched by the Government of India’s Customs department in 2019 to enhance the efficiency of customs clearance processes and improve the experience of travelers entering India.

ICEDASH

ICEDASH is a dashboard for monitoring and improving the performance of the customs department. It acts as an ease of doing business monitoring dashboard that tracks the time taken at various stages of cargo clearance and helps the public see the daily Customs clearance times of import cargo at various ports and airports in India. This system aims to promote transparency and accountability, as well as to enhance the effectiveness of the customs clearance process.

ATITHI

ATITHI is a mobile app designed for international travelers to India. It facilitates a seamless and hassle-free customs clearance process for them. Through the ATITHI app, travelers can declare their dutiable and prohibited goods in advance, thus reducing their time spent at the customs clearance process upon arrival. The app is user-friendly and supports multiple languages, making it accessible to a wide range of travelers.
