The World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, observed on 27 October. The World Day provides an occasion to raise general awareness of the need to take urgent measures and to acknowledge the importance of audiovisual documents. This year the theme of the World Day for Audiovisual Heritage is “Engage the Past Through Sound and Images”.
