Call for Code initiative
IBM’s Call for Code initiative aims to bring startup, academic and enterprise developers together to respond to and recover from natural disasters. The initiative seeks to solve one of the most pressing societal issues of preventing, responding to and recovering from natural disasters. For this, IBM provide access to its cloud, data, Artificial Intelligence and blockchain technologies, along with training and code to developers. Through this initative, IBM and David Clark Cause are joining forces to benefit their charitable partners such as United Nations Human Rights and American Red Cross. Since its inception in May 2018, over 35 organizations and over 20 IBM clients have participated in this initiative.
