ESIC Honoured at Asia-Pacific Social Security Forum

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) recently gained recognition at the Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific, which took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on December 3, 2024. ESIC received multiple awards for its contributions to social security and healthcare.

ESIC was awarded one certificate of merit for its mobile app “Ask An Appointment” (AAA+). Additionally, it received three certificates of merit for its initiatives in Occupational Accident and Disease, Sustainable Investment, and System Resilience. Over the last two years, the app has introduced new features, which include Aadhaar integration, home sample collection requests, and eligibility checks for ESI benefits. The app also ensures faster prescription services at pharmacy counters for users with AAA+ appointments.
