AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS)

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh has officially become the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of the Indian Air Force (IAF). This important event took place at the Air Headquarters (Vayu Bhawan). With his new role, he will guide the IAF into a new phase, bringing leadership and direction to the force.

AP Singh was commissioned into the Indian Air Force on 21st December 1984. He has a wealth of experience, especially in the fighter aircraft division.   • He is a Qualified Flying Instructor, meaning he trains other pilots.
