First International Dairy Federation Asia-Pacific Summit in Kochi

The first IDF Regional Dairy Conference Asia Pacific-2024 will be held in Kochi from June 26th to June 28th, 2024. It will bring together experts from around the world to talk about new ideas and problems in the dairy industry. The Union Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy, the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), and the International Dairy Federation (IDF) are some of the most important groups involved. The conference is set at the Grand Hyatt, Bolgatty. Over 1,000 delegates from more than 20 countries, including influential leaders and experts from the dairy industry, are expected to attend.

Prominent attendees include Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Union Minister, who will address the event virtually. Other significant participants are J. Chinchurani, Kerala’s Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development; Ashish Kumar Bhutani, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation; Alka Upadhyaya, Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying; and Meenesh Shah, Chairman, NDDB.

Conference Theme and Objectives

The event, which is called “Farmer-centric Innovations in Dairying,” is meant to talk about important issues in the dairy business, especially in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world. The main goals are to increase production, make sure that milk collection is open and honest, and encourage environmentally friendly practices in the face of climate change.
