How Will Gen AI Conclave in Kochi Impact Kerala?
An international conference on Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) will be held in Kochi on July 11 and 12. This was stated by the government of Kerala. As a result of working with the global tech company IBM on this event, Kerala has taken a big step toward new technologies and economic growth.
Objectives of the Event
The goal of the conclave is to make Kerala a major center for Gen AI creation, using AI technologies to change things. Industry 4.0 is a current trend in manufacturing technologies that focuses on automation and data sharing. The goal is to boost economic growth and get the state ready for it. Minister for Industries P. Rajeeve said that the conclave is expected to have around 1,000 guests, including policymakers, business leaders, and new ideas.
Collaboration and Development Goals
One of the main ideas of the conference is how the public and private sectors can work together to make AI technology better. Dinesh Nirmal, Senior Vice-President of Products at IBM, stressed how important it is for people to work together to make generative AI settings better. The summit’s main goals will be to solve problems in business and society, improve skill development, and push AI research and development forward.
Event Features and Pre-Conclave Activities
Keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive sessions will all be part of the meeting. The goal is to get people talking about AI’s wider effects on society and the economy. Two hackathons will be held on the WatsonX platform before the event. One is for college students, and the other is for local start-ups. The goals of these contests are to encourage new ideas and show off rising AI talent. It will be during the main event that the winners are announced.
