PM Modi to Inaugurate State-of-the-Art Ayodhya Railway Station

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Ayodhya Dham railway station on December 30th. The transport hub sets a new benchmark for convenience with airport-style amenities across its cutting-edge three-story complex.

Distinctive World-Class Facilities

Ayodhya Dham stands out through unique facilities not typically found in railway stations:

  • Infant Care Room – medical services for babies
  • Tourist Information Center – details on local spiritual and sightseeing attractions
  • Sick Room – urgent care and first aid for passengers
  • Fire Exits – ensuring safe evacuation routes

It also provides standard railway station facilities like food plazas, waiting halls, dormitories and shops.

But the station goes further in its attentive design. Special accommodations exist for women staff and passengers. It incorporates accessible infrastructure for disabled travelers.

Massive, Modern Complex

Currently the first of three construction phases is complete. But even that initial stage has delivered an expansive concourse spanning over 7,200 square meters – the largest in India.

The transport hub follows an efficient three-floor layout:

Ground Floor – houses the tourist center and medical rooms

Middle Floor – features staff lodging and retiring rooms

Top Floor – contains the massive concourse and food plazas
