Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his greetings to President of Republic of Korea, Mr. Yoon Suk Yeol on completing 50 years of establishment of diplomatic ties between India and Republic of Korea.
In 1973 that India could definitively establish diplomatic relations by formally recognizing both North and South Korea. As of 2022, trade volume has soared to USD 27.8 billion. At present, major South Korean conglomerates, including Hyundai Motor, POSCO, LG Electronics and Samsung Electronics are operating in Indian market.

YUVAi-Youth for Unnati and Vikas with AI’ is a collaborative initiative of National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) and Intel India.
The initiative is set to be prominently featured at the upcoming Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit. This programme is designed to equip the youth with essential AI skills. YUVAi is aimed to foster a deeper understanding of AI, to enable school students from class 8 to 12 with AI skills and empower them to become users of AI. The GPAI Summit is scheduled in New Delhi.

The Union government has approved setting up a breeding centre for cheetahs at the Banni grasslands in Gujarat’s Kutch district.
The Gujarat government sent a proposal to the National Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management Authority under National CAMPA. Wildlife experts said that there were records of cheetah hunting in Saurashtra and Dahod until 1921, adding that several reference journals have mentioned cheetah presence in Gujarat until the early 1940s. The Gujarat government will have to set up breeding centres and introduce a prey base in this area before cheetahs are brought.

Union Home Minister is the Chairman of these five Zonal Councils, while the Chief Ministers of the Statesand the Administrator/Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territories from the respective Zonal Council are its members, one of whom is the Vice-Chairman by rotation every year.
The Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently chaired the 26th meeting of the Eastern Zonal Council in Patna, Bihar. The Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar, and senior Ministers from Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand attended the meeting.

The National Asset Reconstruction Company (NARCL) has finalised the acquisition of the two SREI companies namely SREI Equipment Finance and SREI Infrastructure Finance.
The acquisition is made under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), paving the way for resolution of a Rs 32700-crore debt. NARCL emerged the winning bidder under the IBC process. NARCL was formed by the government in 2021 with public sector banks owning a majority stake in NARCL, while the balance is with private banks. Canara Bank is the sponsor bank.
