Yuva Sangam is a program established by the Government of India with the objective of enhancing the interpersonal connections among young individuals hailing from diverse States and Union Territories of India.
Recently, the registration portal for the third phase of Yuva Sangam, a part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative, was officially launched.

Notes:
A Chinese research group has initiated the construction of an enormous neutrino telescope in the South China Sea called Tropical Deep-sea Neutrino Telescope (Trident), which is named Hailing (Ocean Bell) in Chinese.
This telescope is poised to become the world’s most extensive “ghost particle” detector and will be positioned at a depth of 3,500 meters beneath the ocean’s surface.

Halley’s Comet is about to treat skywatchers with a spectacular display of ‘shooting stars’ for the first time in 37 years.
These meteor showers will seem to emanate from the Orion constellation, specifically just above the renowned Orion Belt comprised of three bright stars. Consequently, they are referred to as the Orionid meteor shower.

Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has released the 2nd Advance Estimates of the area and production of various horticultural crops for the year 2022-23. According to this estimate, total horticulture production in the country is expected to be a record 351.92 million tonnes in the year 2022-23.
This is an increase of about 4.74 million tonnes (1.37%) as compared to the year 2021-22 (final).

Notes:
The Arunachal Pradesh cabinet has given its approval for the amendment of the Arunachal Pradesh State Industrial and Investment Policy 2020.
The cabinet also approved the constitution of the Special Tiger Protection Force (STPF) as per the guidelines of the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) for three tiger reserves – Namdapha, Pakke and Kamlang.
