‘Chanakya Defence Dialogue’ Talk Series
The Indian Army is set to establish a platform for critical discussions on security matters with the introduction of the “Chanakya Defence Dialogue.” This dialogue series, aimed at bringing together experts to exchange insights on crucial security issues, is a significant step toward enhancing strategic awareness.
Curtain Raiser and Inaugural Edition
The curtain raiser for the Chanakya Defence Dialogue is scheduled with the participation of Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande in a talk. The inaugural edition of the dialogue series is tentatively planned for the first or second week of November.
A Global Gathering of Minds
The Chanakya Defence Dialogue is envisioned as a regular forum that will bring together leading experts from the global defense and strategic community. It aims to foster connections and encourage the exchange of ideas among these esteemed minds.
The Indian Army is partnering with the distinguished think tank, the Centre for Land and Warfare Studies (CLAWS), to organize this event. The dialogue will feature participants from a wide range of nations, including Australia, France, Japan, and the United States.
Deliberating on Security Challenges
Over the course of two days, the Chanakya Defence Dialogue will host a gathering of eminent speakers, military strategists, ambassadors, and prominent thinkers specializing in defense and strategic affairs. The discussions will center around a variety of security challenges and strategies in the critical regions of South Asia and the Indo-Pacific.
