Goa Declaration has been adopted unanimously at the G20 Tourism Ministerial meet. This marked the success of the 4th tourism working group meeting.
Over 130 delegates from the G20 countries and the guest countries attended the G20 Tourism Ministerial meet in Goa.

The Odisha Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, has given approval for an increased budget of Rs. 4224.22 Crore for the ABADHA Scheme.
ABADHA stands for ‘Augmentation Basic Amenities and Development of Heritage and Architecture’. The scheme aims to transform Puri into a world-class heritage city, focusing on preserving and rejuvenating its cultural and architectural heritage.

The Livestock and Livestock Products (Importation and Exportation) Bill, 2023 has been withdrawn recently by the Central Government.
The proposed Bill seeks to establish regulations regarding the import and export of animals, encompassing domestic pets such as dogs and cats. Additionally, it suggests categorizing livestock as a tradable “commodity.”

Notes:
The Delhi Government is set to implement the Non-Conforming Industrial Area Redevelopment Project. It will transform all 26 Non-Conforming Industrial Areas into recognised Conforming Industrial Areas.
The government would bear 90 percent of the cost to convert all 26 non-conforming industrial areas in the city into conforming industrial areas. The remaining 10 percent of the cost will be contributed by the industries themselves.
